Mission:<\/span><\/strong>
\n\u2022 Within the confines of a particular subdomain, analyzes, creates, and implements network
\nsolutions and OSS (Operational Support Systems) systems in accordance with business, technical,
\noperational (provisioning, service assurance), or regulatory requirements (signalling, messaging,
\netcetera). Constantly seeks to strike the ideal mix between internal development and integration
\neffort and solutions from outside vendors. Ensures alignment to particular objectives, budget,
\nresources, and timing.
\n\u2022 Offers assistance with the introduction of new goods as well as existing solutions.
\n\u2022 Takes part in technology research and studies to choose the best course for evolution in his or her
\nsubdomain.
\n\u2022 Serves as a technical resource for network and system engineers in his or her area of specialization<\/p>\n

Roles\/Responsibilities:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Examines and evaluates numerous short- to medium-term technological developments that are
\nrelevant to his or her subdomain. ensures that the short- to medium-term evolution routes for his or
\nher subdomain are drafted.
\n\u2022 Participates in larger projects and assumes technical responsibility for implementation of
\nsmaller\/medium-sized initiatives. Organizes the technical activities (engineering, IT, operations, and
\nsupplier) for smaller projects in close coordination with the many stakeholders, including product
\nmanagement, operational departments, outside suppliers, and other IT & network engineers.
\ninvolvement with operational support systems and technical platforms, including their design,
\nimplementation, testing, and rollout.
\n\u2022 Contributes to bigger requests for information or proposals and assumes leadership in smaller ones
\nby outlining the functional and technical requirements. oversees certain steps in the vendor selection
\nprocedure to guarantee a motivated and successful vendor and product choice. identifies the total
\ncost of ownership for each proposal.
\n\u2022 contributes to the technical elements of vendor contracts they include the statement of work, the
\nproject plan, and any related professional services. gives the necessary contributions to the technical
\n(engineering) chapter of customer RFPs.
\n\u2022 Creates technical documentation, methodologies, and processes for usage by the various
\noperational departments with reference to delivered solutions. arranges for internal departments’
\ntechnical training. oversees projects to improve processes.
\n\u2022 Is regarded as a reference within his or her purview (subdomain):
\n– Arranges for technical divisions to receive training.
\n– Attends conferences and seminars held by regulatory organizations and standardization groups.
\n– Ensuring appropriate engagement and communication with other teams
\n\u2022 Performs\/contributes to the mid- to long-term capacity management of his or her subdomain in
\ncollaboration with the network architect, ensuring that all systems are proactive and appropriately
\nsized to handle traffic evolutions in accordance with actual and anticipated numbers.
\n\u2022 Serves as a technical resource for system and network engineers. outlines best practices and the
\nessential direction for network engineers to take when handling implementation projects. Will
\nsupport in pertinent situations<\/p>\n
